Job summary

National Wound Physician Group is seeking a part-time bariatric surgeon to join our mobile wound care team in McAllen, TX. You will visit facilities within a 40–60 mile radius and conduct bedside rounds, treating roughly 20–30 patients per day with real-time EMR documentation.

No nights, no call, no weekend chores. A current MD/DO license, 3 weekdays per week minimum, and paid training including a 6‑month wound care fellowship are required. W2 employment with benefits offered.

Qualifications

• Active MD/DO license in the practice state.
• Experience or training in wound care.
• Ability to work in a mobile, facility-based setting.

Responsibilities

• Provide bedside wound care in post-acute facilities.
• Conduct weekly wound rounds at multiple facilities.
• Document patient care in real time using EMR.
