Skilled Wound Care is hiring Bariatric Surgeons in San Jose, CA to lead wound care initiatives across skilled nursing facilities. This full-/part-time role emphasizes a no-call lifestyle, ongoing surgical skills, and clinical autonomy in a supportive environment.

You will perform debridement and bedside procedures, manage chronic wounds, and collaborate with post-acute teams, while receiving comprehensive wound care training and a streamlined documentation workflow.

Qualifications

• Medical Degree: MD or DO from an accredited institution.
• Medical License: Unrestricted/clear medical license in the state of practice (or eligibility).
• DEA License: Or eligibility to obtain one.
• Open Background: We welcome surgeons from all backgrounds; wound care training is provided.

Responsibilities

• Perform bariatric surgical wound care debridement and bedside procedures.
• Evaluate and treat chronic, non-healing and complex wounds in post-acute settings.
