AdventHealth in Florida is seeking a Registered Nurse to assess and plan patient care with the interdisciplinary team. You will perform nursing procedures, monitor outcomes, and ensure patient safety and education throughout the care continuum.

The role requires active nursing licensure (RN), BLS, and strong documentation. Eligible candidates may receive a $3,000 sign-on bonus; benefits start Day One, with career development opportunities and a supportive, faith-based environment.

Qualifications

• Assesses patients' physical, psychosocial, cultural, and spiritual needs through observation, interviews, and review of medical records.
• Develops and implements patient care plans in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team.
• Demonstrates nursing skills including IVs, wound care, and medication administration.

Job Description

• $3,000 Sign On Bonus for Eligible Candidates
• Assesses patients' physical, psychosocial, cultural, and spiritual needs through observation, interviews, and review of medical records and clinical data.
• Develops and implements patient care plans in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team, observing outcomes in accordance with nursing standards.
• Demonstrates competency in therapeutic and diagnostic interventions, including IVs, wound care, medication administration, catheterization, and specimen collection.
• Advocates for and protects the health, safety, and rights of each patient.
• Provides patient and family education based on assessment of learning readiness, needs, and ability, and evaluate the effectiveness of teaching.
• Encourages patient engagement in healthcare through motivational interviewing, self-management protocols, and teach-back methodology.
• Delivers relationship-based care, engaging patients in all aspects of care with respect for cultural differences and diversity.
• Delegates tasks to non-RN personnel in accordance with State Board of Nursing and hospital policy.
• Coordinates and implements group visits for identified high-risk patient populations.
• Aids in the care transition of high-risk patients, including medication reconciliation and coordination of services.
• Contributes to continuous process improvement by actively participating in patient experience and satisfaction initiatives.
