Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Dietetics or related field.
  • Registered Dietitian (RD/RDN) credential.
  • Licensed Dietitian in the State of Georgia.
  • BLS certification.
  • Minimum one year of clinical dietitian experience.

Responsibilities

  • Provide clinical nutrition assessment and medical nutrition therapy.
  • Educate patients and families on bariatric nutrition guidelines.
  • Guide post-operative diet progression and supplementation needs.
  • Collaborate with surgeons and nurses in the bariatric program.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and patient education records.
