Job summary

Diesel Barbershop is seeking an Operations Assistant at our Richardson CityLine and Frisco locations. You will warmly greet clients, manage the check-in process, and support scheduling and payments to keep the shop running smoothly.

The role requires evenings and weekends availability, a friendly demeanor, and strong organizational skills to maintain a clean reception area and assist barbers with admin tasks. This is a part-time position with flexible scheduling.

Qualifications

• Experience in customer service preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
• Proficient in using computer systems and booking software.
• Flexibility to work evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome clients as they arrive at the barbershop.
• Answer phone calls and schedule appointments using our booking system.
• Provide information to clients regarding services, pricing, and availability.
• Maintain a clean and organized reception area.
• Sweep and tidy up the barbershop floor regularly.
• Fold and organize towels and other linens.
• Assist barbers with any administrative tasks as needed.
• Handle cash and process payments accurately.
• Manage inventory of retail products and restock as necessary.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
