Finley’s Barbershop in Austin, TX seeks skilled stylists and barbers to perform hair and beard services while delivering exceptional client care. Join a collaborative team focused on growth and high standards of professionalism.

You’ll work in a supportive environment with instant clientele, marketing backing, and earning potential of $45-$60 per hour plus commissions and bonuses. Benefits commence after 60 days, including health, dental, vision, disability, life insurance, a 401K match, and PTO.

Qualifications

• Active Texas cosmetologist or barber license.
• Superior client service and communication skills.
• At least one year of salon or barbershop experience.
• Proficiency in men’s grooming, especially haircuts and beard care.
• Professional appearance and demeanor.
• Ability to pay attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide outstanding customer service to ensure clients feel welcomed and valued.
• Communicate effectively to ensure clients are satisfied with services rendered.
• Perform hair and beard cutting, trimming, and styling as per client preferences; include massages, color services, shaving and waxing.
• Utilize the POS system to add notes in clients' accounts.
• Educate clients on products, services, and promotions to assist marketing and sales.
• Collaborate with the shop team to meet performance goals.
