Role Description

The Barber role at Elevations The Barbershop is a full-time, on-site position based in Greater Houston. Day-to-day responsibilities include providing haircuts, beard trims, shaves, and related grooming services, while consulting with clients to understand their preferences and recommend suitable styles and hair care routines. The Barber will maintain a clean, sanitary, and organized workstation, follow safety and hygiene standards, and help create a welcoming atmosphere for all clients. Additional tasks include managing appointment schedules, supporting retail sales of grooming products, and contributing to a positive team culture through professional communication and collaboration.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong Barbering and Hair Cutting skills, with experience delivering precise and consistent grooming services.
• Candidates should possess Hair Styling and Hair Care skills to recommend styles and maintenance routines tailored to client needs.
• Candidates should possess knowledge of Cosmetology fundamentals, including basic skin and hair health, sanitation, and product usage.
• Valid barber or cosmetology license in the state of Texas, or eligibility to obtain one.
