Troy's Arlington, part of Live! Hospitality & Entertainment, is seeking a Barback to support bartenders and keep the bar running smoothly in a lively Texas Live! environment.

You will perform prep work, restock supplies, maintain cleanliness, and handle bar ware and kegs while delivering courteous service; evening and weekend shifts may apply. Must be 18+ and fluent in English.

Qualifications

• Experience in food service and bar/nightclub operations.
• English fluency required; other languages preferred.
• Must be 18+ years old (state dependent).
• Good communication with guests and staff.
• Alcohol awareness certification or valid health/food handler card as required by local/state rules.

Responsabilités

• Refill ice bins and restock beer/liquor.
• Change empty kegs and move full kegs.
• Keep bar area clean and organized; clean spills.
• Organize bar and drink ware; assist in side work.
• Provide polite, professional guest service.
• Communicate effectively with coworkers and guests.

From Cowboys Hall of Famer, Troy Aikman, Troy’s is a unique and iconic addition to Texas Live!. The venue offers a unique blend of live music, gourmet food and signature cocktails to create a social experience for all. It combines an elevated menu experience based upon Aikman’s personal favorites, including gourmet burgers with bold flavors and specialty margaritas made from the freshest ingredients. The menu showcases healthy lunch and dinner options, shareable sides, a selection of craft cocktails and a curated collection of wine and beer.

Barback Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Show that you are an energetic, outgoing, fun person while maintaining professionalism.
• Perform basic prep work behind the bar: refilling ice bins, restocking beer/liquor, cutting garnishes.
• Change empty kegs in keg room, including moving full kegs of beer.
• Assist in maintaining a clean and tidy environment by cleaning up spills and emptying trash cans.
• Organizes bar and drink ware.
• Clear and clean bar in a timely manner.
• Perform more than one task at a time.
• Offer polite, professional, and courteous customer service.
• Communicate effectively, clearly, patiently and humorously with co-workers and guests.
• Complete all side work as assigned.

Barback Qualifications

• Food service experience with general knowledge of bar/nightclub operations.
• Must speak fluent English, other languages preferred.
• Must be at least age 18 or older, depending on state regulations.
• Communication skills are utilized a significant amount of time when interacting with guests, cooks, wait staff, and supervisors.
• Alcohol awareness certification and/or food service permit or valid health/food handler card as required by local or state government agency.
• Reading and writing abilities are utilized often when taking orders, completing paperwork, etc.
• Mathematical skills, including basic math are used frequently.
• May be required to work nights, weekends, and/or holidays.

The Barback position requires the ability to perform the following:

• Handling, carrying or lifting items weighing up to 200 pounds (kegs, ice, glasses, trays, etc.)
• Move about the facility efficiently and safely.
• Handling food, objects, products and utensils effectively and safely.
• Withstand potential climate temperature changes in assigned work area.
