Job summary

The Montford Rooftop Bar, part of Parks Hospitality Group in Asheville, NC, is seeking a Barback to support bartenders by stocking, cleaning, and organizing the bar to ensure smooth service during busy shifts.

You will set up and stock supplies, assist with pouring and restocking, maintain glassware and work surfaces, follow safety standards, and provide friendly guest service. Prior bar or similar experience is preferred but not required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in a similar role is a plus but not required.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Attention to detail for cleanliness and organization.
• Stamina to stand for long periods and lift items.
• Basic knowledge of alcoholic beverages is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Set up and stock the bar with supplies (beer, wine, spirits, mixers, garnishes).
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of bar and glassware.
• Assist bartenders during busy periods by replenishing supplies and fetching bottles.
• Restock empty glasses and bottles as needed.
• Monitor inventory and alert management to needs.
• Adhere to safety and sanitation standards.
• Provide friendly and efficient customer service.
• Assist with other tasks including dishwashing or kitchen ops as needed.

At Parks Hospitality Group, we are looking for a hardworking and reliable Barback to join our Food & Beverage team. In this vital support role, you will be the backbone of our bar operations ensuring our bartenders have everything they need to succeed by keeping stations fully stocked, clean, and organized so we can deliver exceptional service to every guest.

What You'll Do:
