Job summary

Smith & Wollensky is seeking an experienced bar back to join our on-site team in Miami Beach. Ideal candidates have 1–2 years of bartending/barback experience in a fine dining restaurant and will assist the bar staff with glassware, restocking, and batching.

You will maintain bar cleanliness, prep garnishes, manage ice wells and kegs, and support guests as needed in a high-volume environment. Strong communication and adaptability are essential.

Qualifications

• Must have at least 1 year experience in a high-volume and high-end environment.
• Strong verbal communication skills.
• Ability to adapt to a fast-paced restaurant setting.

Responsibilities

• Maintain bar area cleanliness and stock bar supplies before and during service.
• Prepare garnishes, restock beverages, and batch as needed.
• Assist bartenders with glasswashing, ice, kegs, and general bar support.
• Handle spills and emergencies promptly and safely.

We are seeking experienced bar back to join our team. Our bar backs typically have 1-2 years of bartending/barback experience at a fine dining restaurant.The bar back is responsible for general assistance of the bar staff, including glass-washing, batching, and restocking of beverage products.
