Job summary

Hyatt Centric Key West Resort and Spa is seeking a Barback/Food Runner to support our vibrant Blue Mojito Bar with fast-paced, guest-focused service. Responsibilities include stocking bars, running food, delivering In-Room Dining orders, and maintaining cleanliness across bar and service areas.

The role requires energy, teamwork, and the ability to handle weights like kegs, with shifts 10am-4pm or 4pm-11pm and weekends availability.

Qualifications

• Prior barback or food runner experience preferred.
• Good verbal communication skills and collaborative attitude.
• Ability to stand for long periods.
• Walking, bending, pushing, pulling and carrying large amounts of weight including kegs (~160 lbs).
• Flexible availability including weekends and holidays.
• 5 days a week with shifts 10am-4pm or 4pm-11pm.

Responsibilities

• Stock bars with liquor, mixers, ice, glassware, and supplies.
• Run food from the kitchen to guests quickly and accurately.
• Deliver In-Room Dining orders and guest amenities.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of bar and service areas.
• Assist bartenders and servers as needed to ensure seamless service.
• Communicate clearly with kitchen, bar, and service staff.
• Safely lift and transport supplies, including kegs.
• Follow all safety, sanitation, and cleanliness standards.
