Job summary

Suburban Inns in Midland, MI is seeking a Barback to support the bartender with prep, stocking, running, and cleaning while upholding local health standards and our core values to ensure guests are 100% satisfied.

The position is part-time with 2nd shift, starting at $13.73/hour and negotiable based on experience. Formal education is not required, and a TIPS certification may be completed on hire. Benefits include discounts, PTO, health/dental/vision, and advancement opportunities.

Qualifications

• Ability to interpret/extract information and perform arithmetic.
• Formal education and job-related experience: None.
• TIPS certification may be completed on hire.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and connect with them.
• Inspect bar and ensure adequate supplies before shift.
• Stock glasses, liquors, beers, and wines as needed.
• Refill garnishes and mixers; wash glasses at the bar.
• Assist bartender with tasks and end-of-night restock.
