The LINE Austin is seeking a dynamic Restaurant Barback to join our hospitality team. A genuine passion for service and an entrepreneurial spirit will help you support a high-energy bar operation and ensure guests have an exceptional experience.

You will stock, maintain bar area, assist with pours and service sequence, coordinate with teammates, and uphold safety and cleanliness standards in a fast-paced hotel setting.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Experience in hospitality or service industry preferred.
• Strong communication skills.
• Collaborative spirit and positive attitude.
• Attention to detail and ethical conduct.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced hotel environment.

Responsibilities

• Be courteous and gracious, maintaining a professional demeanor at all times.
• Establish and maintain good communications and teamwork with fellow colleagues and other departments within the hotel.
• Offer guests an enjoyable experience that conforms to the company’s standards of excellence, professionalism and friendliness.
• Demonstrate understanding and knowledge of the sequence of service, following this sequence for every guest.
• Possess knowledge of the POS system to correctly and strategically coordinate with team members.
• Stock and maintain bar area and bar supplies, ensuring superior cleanliness and organization.
• Assist coworkers in any task necessary to ensure a great environment for guests and coworkers.
• Execute any additional employee duties requested by management.
• Possess expert knowledge of all food and beverage aspects of the restaurant.
• Maintain an increased awareness of safety issues throughout the hotel.
• Participate in scheduled departmental and administrative meetings as requested.
