Job summary

Major Food Group is hiring Barbacks for Carbone Miami in Miami Beach, FL. The role supports bartenders, maintains a stocked and clean bar, and contributes to a high-standard service environment. This on-site position requires lifting and working nights, weekends, and holidays.

Experience in bar operations and ability to work with a POS system are preferred. Medical and PTO benefits are available to eligible staff.

Qualifications

• Able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• On-site work including nights, weekends and holidays.
• Must be able to operate a POS system accurately and efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Assist the bartenders in setting up and organizing the bar area before opening hours.
• Ensure the bar is stocked with liquor, mixers, glassware, garnishes, and other items.
• Retrieve and replenish beverages and ingredients as needed during the shift.
• Clean and polish glassware and bar equipment to maintain cleanliness and presentation.
• Collect empty glasses and bottles from tables and bar counters and dispose properly.
• Prepare garnishes such as fruit slices for cocktails.
• Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the bar area and restock storage areas.
