Job summary

Tommy's Tavern + Tap is seeking a Barback to support bartenders and keep the bar stocked, clean, and guest-ready. You will restock liquor, beer, wine, mixers, glassware, and tools, maintain bar cleanliness, remove trash, assist with keg changes, and help during peak hours while following health and sanitation guidelines.

This role requires a reliable team player with good communication, who can thrive in a fast-paced hospitality environment and is eager to learn and grow with the team.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a bar or restaurant setting preferred.
• Strong work ethic and attention to detail.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
• Physical stamina to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Restock liquor, beer, wine, mixers, garnishes, glassware, and bar tools throughout the shift.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar, including mats, sinks, and storage areas.
• Remove trash, clean spills, and ensure bar stations are sanitary and guest-ready.
• Assist with keg changes and deliveries.
• Support bartenders during peak hours with prep and service needs.
• Follow all health, safety, and sanitation guidelines.
