Job summary

Cherokee Federal is seeking an entry-level Barback to support beverage operations in our US venues. You’ll help keep bars stocked with beverages, glassware, and supplies, and assist bartenders while focusing on cleanliness, organization, and efficiency to ensure smooth service.

Candidates must be at least 21, able to obtain a food handler’s card, and pass alcohol awareness training; licensing for gaming or alcoholic beverages may be required.

Qualifications

You will be a vital support to the bartending team, focusing on cleanliness, organization, and efficiency, all while upholding a fun and safe environment for our guests and team members.

• High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED). This is an entry-level position with little to no previous work experience required.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Ability to obtain a food handler’s card.
• Ability to pass all alcohol awareness training.
• Ability to obtain and maintain licensing by the appropriate gaming authority.
• Ability to obtain a state-issued alcoholic beverage license.
• Requires standing for long periods, frequent bending and kneeling. Must be able to lift objects up to 50 lbs.
• Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays, in a setting that includes exposure to second‑hand smoke and crowd noise.
