Job summary

Isla Bella Beach Resort in Marathon, FL, is seeking a dedicated Barback to support the bartending team and maintain a pristine bar area. You will assist with stocking, setup, and daily cleaning to ensure smooth service during peak hours.

The ideal candidate has previous bar or hospitality experience, can multitask in a fast-paced setting, and is flexible to work evenings, weekends, and holidays. This on-site role offers competitive pay and growth opportunities within the resort.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a bar or hospitality setting preferred.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks.
• Must be of legal age to handle alcoholic beverages in Florida.
• Must be able to lift heavy items and stand for extended periods.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including wiping down surfaces, sweeping, and mopping floors.
• Restock liquor, beer, wine, mixers, garnishes, glassware, and other bar supplies throughout the shift.
• Prepare garnishes and assist in the setup of the bar before opening.
• Assist bartenders by retrieving items, changing kegs, and ensuring ice bins are filled.
• Collect and wash used glassware and utensils promptly.
• Dispose of trash and recyclables, ensuring waste bins are emptied regularly.
• Adhere to all health and safety regulations, maintaining a sanitary work environment.
• Collaborate with the bartending team to ensure seamless service during peak hours.
