Clyde's Restaurant Group is opening Ebbitt House in Reston, VA, and is building an opening team for the bar. We are seeking a Barback to support bartenders, stock supplies, maintain cleanliness, and ensure smooth service.

Responsibilities

• Assist bartenders in preparing and serving beverages.
• Stock bar with glassware, garnishes and liquor as needed.
• Keep bar area clean and organized, including washing glassware and surfaces.
• Monitor inventory and communicate needs to management.
• Provide prompt and courteous service to guests and address inquiries.
• Help set up and break down the bar before and after service.
• Follow health and safety regulations to maintain a safe workplace.

WHAT YOU WILL DO AS A BARBACK

• Assist bartenders in preparing and serving beverages
• Ensure the bar is stocked with all necessary supplies, including glassware, garnishes, and liquor
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including washing glassware and cleaning surfaces
• Monitor inventory levels and communicate needs to management
• Provide prompt and courteous service to guests, addressing any inquiries or concerns
• Assist in setting up and breaking down the bar before and after service
• Follow all health and safety regulations to ensure a safe working environment
