Job summary

The Eldridge Hotel in Lawrence, KS is seeking a vigilant barback to support the bartender and keep the bar stocked during busy shifts.

You will clean and prepare garnishes, manage napkins, glassware, and supplies, and work with the team to deliver prompt, friendly service in a fast-paced setting.

Must be 21+, physically able, and available weekends; prior bar or restaurant experience is a plus.

Barback

The Eldridge Hotel is looking for an observant, efficient barback who can work with other staff members to ensure that our customers receive prompt, seamless service! The starting wage for barback is 12 dollars an hour with additional tip shares.

The barback will assist in cleaning the bar, preparing garnishes, ensuring the bar is well stocked with napkins, straws, glassware, garnishes, and all other necessities, taking on other duties to support the bartender when necessary to ensure that the bar operates smoothly.

Barbacks should be knowledgeable about menu items, attentive, and focused on providing the best possible service in a fast-paced environment, as well as passionate about working as part of a team to deliver excellent drinks and service to customers, and efficient, reliable, and perceptive with excellent communication and time management skills
