Job summary

Sodexo is seeking a Barback in Las Vegas to support the bartender on the Airport Dimensions Sapphire Lounge account. You will help set up the bar, maintain cleanliness, restock supplies, and assist with garnishes and glassware throughout shifts.

This full-time position requires 0–1 year of related experience and a high school diploma or equivalent. You must be able to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 pounds as needed; shifts are open and assignments vary by account.

Qualifications

• 0 to 1 year related experience.
• Must be at or over the minimum age to serve alcohol or bartend based on local regulations.

Responsibilities

• Set up and maintain the cleanliness and condition of the bar, bar unit, tables, and other tools.
• Collect empty glasses from the bar and wash glassware to ensure an adequate supply.
• Prepares fresh garnishes for drinks employing the FIFO system.
• Restocks bar/designated station with supplies and transports supplies to bar set-up area.
• Anticipates and communicates replenishment needs.
• Maintains cleanliness of bar area, beer lockers, and refrigeration and storage areas to comply with health code standards.
• Significant walking or other means of mobility.
• Ability to walk or stand for extended periods of time, which may exceed 8 hours.
• Ability to reach, bend, stoop, push and/or pull, and frequently lift up to 35 pounds and occasionally 50 pounds.
• Attends work and shows for scheduled shift on time with satisfactory regularity.
• Other duties may be assigned and can differ among accounts, depending on business necessities and client requirements.

As a Barback at Sodexo, you will perform various duties and responsibilities that support the Bartender. The general responsibilities of the position include those listed below, but Sodexo may identify other responsibilities of the position. These responsibilities may differ among accounts, depending on business necessities and client requirements.
