Alternate Ending Beer Co., housed in a former movie theater, seeks a reliable Barback to support our bustling brew pub team. You will stock liquor bottles, kegs, and supplies, keep glassware and surfaces clean, and replenish ice and garnishes to ensure smooth service.

Reporting to bar management, this role offers a hands-on environment with opportunities to learn craft beer operations and contribute to guest satisfaction in a friendly, community-focused setting.

Responsibilities

• Stock liquor bottles, kegs, and related supplies.
• Clean glassware, bar and table surfaces.
• Replenish ice, garnishes, and other items when supplies run low.
• Maintain a clean, organized bar area, including coolers and stock rotation.
• Assist bartenders by taking breaks, communicating, and anticipating needs.
• Help with punch orders, returning glassware from dishwasher, sweeping and mopping, and handling guest needs.

But it offers something unique. Alternate Ending is welcoming to families as well as craft beer lovers thirsty for the limited edition and the novelty glass. Friends can gather here for a special private party, and movie lovers can catch an old flick. There's a chance for everyone to connect with an old movie memory, and savor the highest quality craft beer and gourmet food made from the freshest ingredients.

Job Responsibilities will consist of (but are not limited to):

• Stocking – Restocking liquor bottles, kegs, and other supplies like napkins, straws, and food products.
• Cleaning – Cleaning glassware, bar and table surfaces, and high-touch surfaces like chairs and railings.
• Replenishing – Replenishing ice, garnishes, and other items when supplies run low.
• Maintaining – Maintaining a clean and organized bar area, including coolers and stock rotation.
• Assisting – Assisting bartenders by offering breaks, communicating with them, and anticipating their needs.
• Other tasks – Helping with punch orders, bringing glassware back from the dishwasher, sweeping and mopping, and handling unexpected situations with guests.

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to stand/walk for 8 hours; bend, push, pull; lift 25-50lbs
• Frequently stands, walks, talks and hears; uses hands, reaches with hands and arms; occasionally sits, climbs, balances, stoops, kneels, crawls, crouches, taste or smells
• Environment/Noise: Occasionally works in extreme heat, wet or humid conditions;Noise level is moderate
• Occasionally works in outdoor weather conditions
