Pyramid Global Hospitality in Fort Wayne, Indiana, is seeking a highly motivated Bar Back to join Birdie's team. This part-time role (16–24 hours weekly) runs 4:30 PM–11:00 PM Thursday–Saturday, supporting bartenders and servers while delivering memorable hospitality.

You will maintain bar setup and cleanliness, help stock liquor, beer and wine, and coordinate with kitchen and bar staff. The right candidate brings a welcoming attitude, knowledge of wine and cocktails, and the ability to work

Qualifications

• Engaging and welcoming personality required.
• Knowledge of wine, beer, cocktails, and spirits preferred.
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

• Candidate must regularly lift and carry up to 25 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests as they arrive or move about the bar area.
• Maintain proper and adequate bar setup daily.
• Assist bartenders in securing requisitioned liquor, beer and wine.
• Maintain cleanliness of the bar area and stock glasses.
• Be the master of the bar and understand the operation details.
• Collaborate with servers and kitchen/bar staff.
• Assist with stock, garnishes, juices and perishables daily.

What you will have an opportunity to do:

We are looking for a highly motivated, customer focused Bar Back to join our Birdie's team! The barback is a Part-Time position, 16-24 hours per week, 4:30PM - 11AM, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday. The Bar Back is key to a successful operation. This individual is responsible for supporting the bartenders and servers with delivering memorable hospitality to our guests. As a Bar Back, it is your responsibility to maintain the cleanliness and organization of the bar area, working to keep the bar stocked, filling requisitions and keeping the area clean. This individual will need to be quick on your feet and have an engaging attitude. This is a tremendous opportunity for someone looking to begin a career as a Bartender! Your role:

• Greet guests as they arrive or move about the bar area
• Maintains proper and adequate set‑up of the bar daily
• Assist the Bartenders in securing requisitioned liquor, beer and wine
• Maintain the cleanliness of the bar area, to include ensuring clean glasses are stocked
• Be the master of the bar, understanding the details of the operation
• Work collaboratively with other restaurant servers and kitchen/bar staff
• Assisting with maintaining stock, cutting, and storing of all fresh fruit and vegetable garnishes, juices, and other perishables daily to ensure product quality.
