Job summary

Opal Grand Oceanfront Resort & Spa in Delray Beach, FL is seeking a Barback to support our bar team. This in-person role requires day and evening availability, weekend shifts, and holidays, with duties including stocking, restocking beverages, garnishes, glassware, and assisting bartenders.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Experience in Food & Beverage preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensure bar supplies are stocked and available as back up.
• Assist in restocking bar supplies including beverages and garnishes.
• Change kegs as necessary.
• Clean and pick up empty glasses/bottles from tables and surrounding areas.
• Wipe down tables and bar tops.
• Re-stock garnishes and mixes.
• Ensure glassware is clean and available.
• Re-stock ice when needed.
• Run food items to the bar as needed.
• Empty trash in and around the bar area.
• Maintain clean rags in each bartender's station.

Education

High school or equivalent

Job Duties

• Ensure bar supplies are stocked and available as back up
• Assist in restocking bar supplies including beverages and garnishes
• Change kegs as necessary
