Job summary

Park Holidays UK is hiring a Bar Team Member to deliver friendly, efficient service at our park bar and dining areas. You will greet guests, take orders, prepare and serve food and drinks, and help maintain a clean, welcoming space for all visitors.

Qualifications

• Previous bar/restaurant/customer service experience is advantageous but training will be provided.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong teamwork and a proactive, positive attitude.
• Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic numeracy for handling transactions.

Responsibilities

• Greet and serve customers with a smile, ensuring prompt, friendly, attentive service.
• Assist in the preparation and serving of food and drinks, adhering to company standards for quality and presentation.
• Maintain high levels of cleanliness and hygiene at all times, ensuring bar area, equipment, and utensils are clean and well-maintained.
• Monitor and maintain stock levels, replenishing items as necessary and assisting with stock rotation to ensure freshness and availability.
• Work as part of a team to ensure all tasks are completed to the highest standard, supporting colleagues and contributing to a positive work environment.
• Accurately process transactions, including cash and card payments, ensuring that all cash handling procedures are followed correctly.
• Provide helpful and informative advice to guests, promoting the facilities and services on offer, and ensuring any queries or concerns are addressed promptly.
• Participate in team meetings and training sessions to continuously improve your knowledge and skills, staying up to date with new products and services.
