Job summary

Alma Nove is seeking a Barback to support bartenders and ensure smooth bar operations. You will help with stocking, cleaning, and replenishing supplies while delivering friendly service to guests.

In this fast-paced role, you will maintain a clean bar area, assist with orders during rushes, and ensure compliance with safety standards. Must be of legal drinking age. This on-site position offers opportunities to grow with a renowned Massachusetts restaurant.

Qualifications

• Exhibit hospitality with guests and team.
• Strong organization and attention to detail.
• Clear communication and interpersonal skills.
• Able to stand for long periods and lift items up to 50 lbs.
• Basic knowledge of cocktails and bar terminology is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist bartenders in preparing and serving beverages.
• Refill ice bins, restock glassware, and replenish garnishes.
• Retrieve and restock liquor, beer, wine, and other supplies as needed.
• Collect and wash used glassware and bar tools.
• Ensure bartenders have all necessary supplies and ingredients.
• Greet guests and assist with taking/delivering orders during busy periods.
