Job summary

Tommy Bahama Miramonte Resort & Spa is seeking a Barback to support bartenders and staff in delivering exceptional guest experiences. You will help with opening/closing duties, stock bar items, and assist in reordering while learning menu items and cocktail recipes.

The role requires excellent communication, the ability to work under pressure, and a friendly, professional demeanor. A valid Food Handler’s card and English proficiency are necessary for this fast-paced resort environment.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Duties include opening/closing tasks and restocking the bar with garnishes, napkins, and towels.
• Assist bartenders and staff; prepare and serve drinks.
• Maintain bar stock: ice, liquor, wine, beer, and glassware.
• Ensure taps and appliances function properly; perform minor repairs.
• Learn menu items and cocktail recipes; take orders and process payments during peak hours.
• Speak with guests, answer questions, and handle complaints.
• Maintain records of usage and assist in reordering.
