Job summary

Pechanga Resort Casino’s Kelsey’s Barback provides essential back-of-house support to the bar team, ensuring smooth service and a well-organized environment. The role restsocks supplies, maintains cleanliness, and helps keep the bar area efficient and welcoming for guests.

Team Members must follow PRC quality standards, maintain health and sanitation guidelines, and adhere to liquor laws, with opportunities to assist bartenders and other staff as needed across shifts.

Qualifications

• A High school diploma or GED; or three to six months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Commitment to service standards and beverage operations as outlined by PRC

Responsibilities

• Stock ice, glassware, and all other bar related items.
• Maintain cleanliness of bar countertop and entire designated bar area.
• Rotate and stock bar on request or as needed.
• Have knowledge of all drink pricing, alcohol types and brands, and cocktail recipes.
• Empty trash cans and recyclables as needed.
• Transport supplies to the beverage areas as needed.
• Pick up trash in and around beverage areas.
• Utilize radio to relay key information to other Team Members.
• Aid and assist Bartenders and Bar Porters with all responsibilities as needed.
• Demonstrate proper knowledge of and abide by all liquor laws and policies set forth by ABC and PRC.
• Maintain all health and sanitation guidelines and proper rotation of all perishable items.
• Adhere to cash handling and operating policies in accordance to PRC guidelines.
• Other duties as assigned.
