Job summary

Compass Group USA at UA Houston Club E12-United Airlines 3500 North Ter. Houston, TX 77032 is hiring a full-time BAR BACK. Location is on-site with shifts from 5:00 am–1:30 pm or 1:00 pm–9:30 pm.

Prior high-volume bar back experience required and online applications accepted only. Fixed pay rate is $18.00 per hour, with pay increase to $20 after 90 days of employment; free parking and meals are provided. Perks include free parking, free meals and a potential raise after the introductory period,

• Must be able to work the stated schedule (early mornings) and handle bar service duties across shifts.

Responsibilities

• Receives liquor, beer and wine from storeroom and replenishes bar stock.
• Sets up bottles on bar with top shelf liquor on back shelf.
• Delivers beverage items and garnishes from storerooms to bar area.
• Prepares and serves beverages as needed to assist bartender.
• Assists in opening/closing side work and buses tables in the bar area.
• Maintains cleanliness of bar and service areas.

Job Summary

Summary: Receives all liquor, beer and wine from storeroom on a daily basis and as needed. Replenishes all liquor, beer and wine as needed in the bar throughout the shift.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Retrieves all needed food items from kitchen and delivers to bar area.
• Retrieves all needed beverage items and garnishes from storerooms and delivers to bar area.
• Sets up bottles on bar with 'top shelf' liquor on back shelf.
• Places appropriate bar snacks on counter; keeps supplies, such as snacks and napkins, stocked throughout shift.
• Assists in opening and closing side work as assigned.
• Buses tables in bar area.
• Helps ensure the cleanliness and tidiness of the bar or lounge areas; washes work tables, walls, refrigerators and floors under equipment; sweeps and mops service areas, including floor mats.
• Ensures rubbish is removed from all receptacles.
• Prepares and serves beverages as needed to assist bartender.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
