Job summary

The Shakopee Mdewakanton Sioux Community’s LaunchPad Golf is seeking a Bar Back to support our bartending team across golf suites, dining, and events. You’ll stock supplies, maintain an organized bar area, and help ensure smooth service during busy periods.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting.
• Ability to learn drink preparations and Alcohol Awareness procedures.
• Ability to work a varying schedule, including nights and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Stock and replenish bar supplies for efficient operation.
• Rotate beer and stock reach-in refrigerators.
• Wash and stock glassware.
• Prepare, maintain, and stock garnishes (e.g., fruit).
• Keep the bar area clean and sanitary, replace dirty mats, sweep floors, wipe bottles and spouts.
• Maintain and fill ice bins.
• Assist Bartender with serving and tendering sales.
• Assist with cleaning and stocking self-serve beverage stations.
• Greet guests and know menu items to make recommendations.
