Job summary

Topgolf in San Antonio is hiring a Bar Back to support bartenders, keep the bar stocked and energized for Players. This hourly position offers a fast-paced, fun environment where teamwork and great service matter, and where you can grow with a nationally known brand.

You’ll thrive with a positive attitude, handle high-volume shifts, and help deliver the experience that makes Players smile. Prior hospitality is a plus, but enthusiasm and reliability are what count.

Responsibilities

• Role and Interaction with Players: Support the bartenders by ensuring they have everything they need to keep the energy high and the drinks flowing.
• Keep the bar stocked with liquor, mixers, garnishes, and ice, while keeping a clean area and collecting empty glasses.
• Be a key team player by working with bartenders and other playmakers to ensure smooth service.
• Maintain safety and sanitation by following standards and keeping the bar clean and compliant.

Previous Experience in Hospitality or Entertainment: This is simply a plus, NOT a must. We all must start somewhere!

What you will do in the role:

• Role and Interaction with Players: Support the bartenders by ensuring they have everything they need to keep the energy high and the drinks flowing, helping to create a fun and seamless experience for our players!
• Key Aspect of the Role: Keep the bar stocked with liquor, mixers, garnishes, and ice, while maintaining a clean and organized area by cleaning glassware, equipment, and utensils—and collecting empty glasses and bottles to keep drink service running smoothly without missing a beat!
• Contribution to Topgolf and Other Playmakers: Be a key team player by working alongside bartenders and other playmakers to ensure service runs like clockwork, contributing to unforgettable player experiences!
• Commitment to Safety and Sanitation: We provide a safe and fun environment for all who come to play by sticking to safety and sanitation standards, keeping the bar clean, safe, and compliant—because a great experience starts with a clean and safe environment!

Physical Requirements

• Lift and Move Things: You’ll be handling items up to 50 lb., so being comfortable with lifting, bending, stooping and carrying things is key.
• On Your Feet: Expect to be on your feet for most of the day, so a love for walking throughout your shift.
• Active Tasks: From task to task, you’ll be constantly engaged in a variety of physical activities.
• A can-do attitude is essential!
• Endurance: Whether it’s a long shift or tackling a task that takes time, we’re looking for someone who can keep up the pace in a high-volume working environment.
• This role requires that you must be at least the legal serving age in the jurisdiction of employment and retain necessary certifications in responsible beverage service {where required by law.
