Job summary

Zingaro is a partner restaurant of Fabio Viviani Hospitality Group in Cincinnati and invites energetic team members to join a hospitality crew focused on delivering memorable dining experiences. You will provide warm service, explain menu items, and help keep the bar area efficient and inviting.

Base wage is $5.50/hour plus tips, with guaranteed earnings of at least $11.00/hour in accordance with wage laws, and more potential through gratuities.

Qualifications

• Passion for food and delivering an excellent dining experience.
• Energetic and genuine positive attitude with guests and team.
• Knowledge of how to make common drinks and follow recipes.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in food service/hospitality preferred but not required.
• Excellent communication with guests and team members.
• Ability to pay attention to details.
• Able to stand for long periods and lift up to 30+ pounds repeatedly.

Responsibilities

• Provide quality, genuine hospitality in a timely manner.
• Deliver beverages and other products efficiently.
• Maintain inventory levels and restock work areas to support bartenders.
• Keep bar top clean and free of dirty glasses, plates, trash, etc.
• Ensure bar area is clean, sanitized, and well stocked.
• Explain menu items to guests.
• Adhere to all safety and sanitation policies and procedures.

Compensation: Base wage of $5.50/hour plus tips. Team members are guaranteed to earn at least $11.00/hour in accordance with applicable wage laws, with the opportunity to earn more based on gratuities.

Duties :

• Provide quality, and genuine, hospitality in a timely manner
• Deliver beverages and other products in ab efficient and timely manner
• Ensure that inventory levels of supplies and product are maintained; restock work areas to support bartenders
• Keep bar top clean and free of dirty glasses, plates, trash, etc. throughout shift
• Ensures a clean, sanitized and well stocked bar area
• Understand and provide information to guests regarding all menu items available
• Adheres to all company safety and sanitation policies and procedures
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements:

• Passion for food and ensuring an excellent dining experience for all guests
• Energetic and genuine positive attitude while interacting with team-members and all guests
• Knowledge of how to make common drinks and the ability to follow the recipe for new drinks
• Minimum 1 years of experience in food service/hospitality desired but not required
• Excellent communication skills with guests and team-members
• Ability to pay attention to details
• Be able to reach, bend, stoop and frequently lift up to 30+ pounds repetitively
• Be able to work in a standing position for long periods of time
