Job summary

Binance is seeking a Data Analyst Intern to join the Risk/Data team. You will support data pipeline development, SQL analytics, and data standardization initiatives under guidance from senior team members.

This is a hands-on internship offering exposure to large-scale data processing in a fast-paced business environment. Ideal candidates are pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s in CS, stats, or math, with solid SQL and Python basics, and a strong interest in risk control or fraud detection.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or related field.
• Solid SQL skills, familiarity with Hive/Spark SQL is a plus.
• Basic proficiency in at least one scripting language (Python preferred).
• Strong interest in data analytics, risk control, or fraud detection.
• Good communication skills, eagerness to learn and take initiative.
• Available for at least 3 days per week, minimum 3-month internship duration.

Responsibilities

• Assist in developing and maintaining SQL-based data pipelines and analytics workflows.
• Support data standardization and normalization projects (e.g., address parsing, entity resolution).
• Help build and optimize data models, dashboards, and reports.
• Conduct ad-hoc data analysis under mentorship and present findings to the team.
• Assist in monitoring data quality and implementing validation logic.
• Collaborate with team members on cross-functional data projects.
