Job summary

The Broadmoor in Colorado Springs is seeking a Banquets - Training & Development Lead Captain to drive training across the banquet department. You will coordinate, audit, and update training materials while partnering with Banquet Captains and the Banquet Administrative Office to ensure consistent service levels.

Ideal candidates bring 1+ year in office administration or supervision and 3+ years in Food & Beverage, preferably in a luxury setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; hospitality management degree preferred.
• At least 1 year in office administration and/or supervisory/management roles.
• 3 years in Food & Beverage, luxury or 5-star setting; banquet experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Train banquet staff and conduct regular department training.
• Audit trainers and ensure training structure and documentation.
• Coordinate safety trainings and mandatory certifications.
• Assist Banquet Captains and Banquet Admin Office with daily tasks.
• Develop and implement monthly/quarterly/annual training plans.
• Maintain digital training records and update training materials.
• Support with hiring, onboarding, and weekly reporting to Banquet Management.
