Job summary

Hospitality Ventures Management Group (HVMG) is seeking a Banquet Server to deliver exemplary service at events, meetings, and banquets in our Louisville properties. You will assist with setup, service, and breakdown, ensuring a warm, professional guest experience and smooth event flow.

The role requires flexibility, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, and a positive, team-oriented attitude aligned with HVMG’sCulture of Excellence.

Banquet Server As a Banquet Server, you’ll help create memorable guest experiences by providing exceptional service during events, meetings, and banquets. You'll set up and break down event spaces, serve food and beverages, and ensure every guest feels welcomed and cared for. This role is ideal for someone with a positive attitude, great attention to detail, and a passion for hospitality.

Key Responsibilities

• You will be an essential part of our hotel's special events, providing attentive and friendly service to our guests.
• Your daily tasks will include setting up and breaking down event spaces, serving food and beverages, and maintaining a clean and organized environment.
• You will report to the Banquet Captain or Banquet Manager.
• A career as a banquet server can lead to opportunities in various roles within the hospitality industry, such as banquet captain, restaurant server, or even food and beverage management positions.

Education & Experience

Hotel experience is always a plus! Applicants should have:

• Sufficient education and/or literacy needed to identify and read product labels and to communicate with guests about job-related needs.
