Job summary

Kimpton Hotels & Restaurants is seeking a dedicated dishwasher to support our culinary team and ensure guests experience exceptional service. You will help keep cookware, dishes, and glassware clean while supporting cooks, bussers, bartenders, and servers with efficiency and care.

Ideal candidates bring prior kitchen experience, a food handler certificate if required, and a strong work ethic. You should be flexible to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed in a fast-paced, people-first

Qualifications

• Prior experience in a restaurant or kitchen environment preferred.
• Food Handler Certification may be required depending on local regulations.
• Demonstrated dedication and hardworking attitude.
• Ability to follow verbal instructions and training with minimal supervision.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Responsibilities

• Operate all kitchen and dishwashing equipment safely.
• Wash dishes, glassware, equipment, and silverware by hand when necessary.
• Keep the kitchen area clean and free of debris and water.
• Restock supplies and manage deliveries in a timely and safe manner.
• Remove trash and debris from the restaurant routinely.
• Assist other restaurant personnel with tasks as needed.
• Contribute to a team-oriented, multi-hat work environment.

What You’ll Do

Ensure guests receive clean and spotless china, silverware, and glassware. Provide Cooks, Bussers, Bartenders, and Servers with support and assistance. Keep all areas clean, dry, and safe for other workers, all the while providing outstanding service to our guests along the way.

Some of your responsibilities include:

What You Bring

• Prior experience is preferred.
• Food Handler Certification (if applicable).
• Dedicated and hardworking.
• Able to follow verbal instructions and training, and able to work with minimal direction or supervision to complete assigned tasks.
• Flexible schedule and are able to work evenings, weekends and holidays when needed.
