Job summary

Morongo Casino Resort & Spa is seeking a Set-Up Team – Banquet member to prepare banquet rooms per BEOs, arrange tables and equipment, and ensure spaces are clean and guest-ready. The role requires reading floor plans, working with a team, and lifting heavy items as part of a fast-paced venue environment.

The position involves flexible shifts, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays, and requires familiarity with hotel/casino event operations.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in event setup, banquet operations, or general labor.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Experience reading and interpreting banquet event orders (BEOs), floor plans, and setup diagrams.
• Experience in a hotel, resort, casino, or large event venue preferred.
• Willingness to work flexible shifts, including early mornings, late nights, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Sets up banquet rooms according to BEO specifications, including tables, chairs, staging, and dance floors.
• Arranges table displays, linen, china, flatware, glassware, and equipment based on event layouts.
• Ensures all areas are clean, organized, and presentable before guest arrival.
• Breaks down and stores equipment and furniture after each event in a safe and orderly manner.
• Follows safety protocols when handling heavy or fragile equipment.
• Communicates with Captains and Banquet Managers to confirm setup details and make necessary adjustments.
• Maintains storage rooms in a clean, organized, and accessible condition.
• Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
