Job summary

Grand Geneva Resort & Spa in Lake Geneva, WI seeks a Banquet Set Up team member to prepare event spaces by arranging tables and chairs, cleaning carpets, and ensuring guest-ready settings for memorable events.

You will set up banquet spaces per BEO, assist in maintaining rooms, and uphold quality and service standards in a fast-paced, 24-hour operation. A professional appearance and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• Must be able to work a varied schedule including days, evenings, weekends, holidays
• Must be able to lift, push, pull and/or carry 100 lbs
• Knowledge of table settings and proper set-up; basic food & beverage service knowledge
• Must be detail-oriented and capable of multi-tasking and maintaining professionalism

• Assist in maintaining and coordinating banquet rooms, including setup, upkeep, breakdown and cleaning
• Maintain banquet facility cleanliness by vacuuming and cleaning carpets
• Work in a 24-hour operation with varied schedules and high-pressure situations
• Assist in serving guests as necessary and understand event setup requirements
• Organize linen room and supplies and attend mandatory trainings

What will you be doing?

• Set up banquet spaces as per Banquet Event Order (BEO) and provide customer service per contract.
• Assist in maintaining and coordinating banquet rooms, including setup, upkeep, breakdown, and cleaning.
• Maintain banquet facility cleanliness by cleaning and vacuuming carpets.
• Work reliably in a 24-hour operation, accommodating varied schedules and high-pressure situations.
• Aid in serving guests as necessary and understand event setup requirements.
• Organize and restock linen room and supplies, attending mandatory department meetings and trainings.
• Uphold quality and service standards.
• Perform additional duties and projects as assigned.
