Job summary

Carolina Country Club in Raleigh, NC is seeking a part-time Banquet Server to provide platinum level dining service to members and guests. You’ll assist with setup, maintenance, cleanliness, and safety of Main Dining Room areas and follow function sheets for events.

The role requires greeting guests by name, taking beverage orders, serving food, and maintaining high service standards while adhering to club policies. Flexibility for weekends and holidays is needed to support banquet events.

Qualifications

• Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age.
• Capable of lifting up to 25 pounds or more.
• Able to stand for long periods and move around the work area.
• Fluent in reading, writing, speaking, and understanding English.

Responsibilities

• Set up banquet areas as indicated on function sheets; ensure dishes, silverware, glassware, and linens are clean and properly arranged.
• Greet members and guests by name, seat them accordingly, and take beverage orders.
• Serve food and beverages in assigned stations; pour and refill drinks as needed.
• Clear and reset tables and banquet areas; assist in closing functions and re-setting rooms for next event.
• Follow club policies and procedures for service of alcoholic beverages and maintain safety and sanitation standards.
