Job summary

HVMG is seeking a Banquet Server to help create memorable guest experiences at events and banquets. You’ll set up and break down spaces, serve food and beverages, and ensure every guest feels welcomed and cared for with a warm, professional demeanor.

Eligible to work in the United States with flexible availability including evenings, weekends, and holidays. Hotel experience is a plus, and opportunities for growth across the portfolio are supported by our Culture of Excellence at HVMG.

Banquet Server

As a Banquet Server, you’ll help create memorable guest experiences by providing exceptional service during events, meetings, and banquets. You'll set up and break down event spaces, serve food and beverages, and ensure every guest feels welcomed and cared for. This role is ideal for someone with a positive attitude, great attention to detail, and a passion for hospitality.

Key Responsibilities

• You will be an essential part of our hotel's special events, providing attentive and friendly service to our guests.
• Your daily tasks will include setting up and breaking down event spaces, serving food and beverages, and maintaining a clean and organized environment.
• You will report to the Banquet Captain or Banquet Manager.
• A career as a banquet server can lead to opportunities in various roles within the hospitality industry, such as banquet captain, restaurant server, or even food and beverage management positions.

Education & Experience

Hotel experience is always a plus! Applicants should have:

• A combination of education and experience.

• Sufficient education and/or literacy needed to identify and read product labels and to communicate with guests about job-related needs.
• Ability to sit, stand, bend, kneel, and lift as required—with or without reasonable accommodations
