Job summary

Great Wolf Lodge in Webster, Texas is seeking a Banquet Server to join our team. Pay is $16.00 per hour. You will deliver food and beverages, assist with setup and breakdown of banquet spaces, and ensure guests have an exceptional dining experience without delays.

Responsibilities

• Read, interpret and follow Banquet Event Orders (BEOs) and service instructions.
• Assist with event setup, including moving tables and chairs and buffet layouts.
• Prepare table settings, condiments and beverages for functions.
• Communicate with Banquet Captain or Manager about changes or dietary restrictions.
• Interact with guests courteously to ensure a high-quality dining experience.
• Deliver food and beverages promptly and professionally.
• Complete side-work and pre-work for future events.
• Assist with post-event cleanup and organization.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Read, interpret and follow with Banquet Event Orders (BEOs) and follow instruction for service from Banquet Captain and/or Manager
• Participate in event setup including; moving and setting tables and chairs, buffet setup, side stations, etc.
• Prepare table settings, condiments, beverages, etc. for the function as dictated
• Communicate with Banquet Captain and/or Manager throughout the function to notify them of changes, special requests, or dietary restrictions to ensure guest satisfaction
• Interact in courteous and professional manner with all function guest to ensure exceptional dining experience
• Deliver food and beverages in a timely, efficient, and professional manner
• Ensure all assigned side-work and pre-work needed for future events is completed before leaving
• Participate in the clean up after all functions including; floors, dishes, equipment and supplies have been properly cleaned and stored as appropriate

Basic Qualifications & Skills

• Some High School education or equivalent
• Must be flexible regarding scheduling based on business demands
• Successful completion of criminal background check and drug screen

Pay Rate: $$16.00 /hr

An employee’s pay position within the salary range will be based on several factors, including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, travel requirements, revenue-based metrics, any contractual agreements, and business or organizational needs. The range listed is just one component of Great Wolf’s total compensation package. Other rewards may include annual bonuses, a Paid Time Off policy, and other perks.
