Job summary

Invited Clubs is seeking a Banquet Server to deliver exceptional food and beverage service at private events for members and guests. You will apply the 3-step service approach: warm welcomes, memorable moments, and fond farewells, while maintaining Invited’s standards in a dynamic event setting.

You will greet guests, execute F&B orders, maintain menu knowledge, and support setup and breakdown. Strong communication, professionalism, and the ability to adapt to a fast-paced venue are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Current Food Handler and Alcohol Server Certifications as required by state/city regulations.
• Previous experience in Food and Beverage service, especially in a banquet or event setting.
• Completion of Invited’s F&B Service Training program.

• Prepare and set up banquet areas, ensuring they are organized, clean, and ready for service.
• Complete daily side work, such as stocking supplies and cleaning work areas.
• Support event setup and breakdown, including table arrangements and décor, as needed.

Job Summary

The Banquet Server is responsible for delivering exceptional food and beverage service to members and guests during events and banquets, ensuring that every interaction reflects Invited’s service standards. This role focuses on consistently applying the 3‑steps of service—warm welcomes, magic moments, and fond farewells. The Banquet Server is designed for individuals who excel in providing seamless, high‑quality service while managing the dynamic environment of private events.

Reporting Structure

• Reports to the F&B Director, Banquet Director, Banquet Manager or Restaurant Manager

Day to Day

• Uphold service training standards, providing exceptional service throughout all events.

• Wear a clean, neat uniform that meets club standards.

About You

• A high school diploma or equivalent.
• Current Food Handler and Alcohol Server Certifications as required by state and city regulations.
• Previous experience in Food and Beverage service, especially in a banquet or event setting.
• Completion of Invited’s F&B Service Training program.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to speak clearly and effectively.
• Ability to follow instructions and communicate well with team members.

Physical Requirements

• Must be able to stand, walk, and perform physical activities for extended periods.
• Ability to work in varying temperatures and environments, with potential exposure to dust, fumes, or gases.
• Capable of climbing ladders, squatting, kneeling, reaching, grasping, twisting, bending, and folding/unfolding as required.
• Able to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 100 lbs. occasionally.
• Effective communication skills, including talking and hearing, with sufficient visual acuity.

Work Schedule
