Job summary

Kimpton Brice Hotel in Savannah is seeking an enthusiastic Banquet Server to support events and guest experiences with Southern hospitality.

Assist Banquet Manager in serving guests, set up banquet spaces, greet attendees, serve courses, and reset rooms between functions while maintaining safety and quality standards. The role emphasizes teamwork and reliability in busy event environments.

Qualifications

• Hotel experience preferred.
• Must be willing to “pitch-in” and help co-workers.
• Knowledge of table settings and serviceware.
• Ability to transport up to 30 lbs.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist Banquet Manager in serving guests during banquet functions to ensure positive guest experience.
• Set up banquet room as instructed by Supervisor to include linen, serviceware and glassware.
• Attend roll call meetings before events to learn function particulars, including guest and hotel expectations.
• Greet guests and respond to requests in a friendly and courteous manner.
• Serve the food and/or beverage in the order and to the expectation of the Supervisor to ensure consistency throughout the banquet.
• Replenish beverages as necessary, and check with guests for overall satisfaction.
• Reset banquet room after function according to Supervisor’s specifications.
