Job summary

Crescent Hotels & Resorts in Bethesda, MD is seeking a PM Banquet Server to join our Food & Beverage team. You will set up banquet rooms and serve food and beverages to guests, consistently upholding Crescent's high standards of quality.

This full-time evening role requires nights, weekends, and holidays. Starting pay is $20.00 per hour with opportunities to grow within the hotel operations.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Attend roll call meetings before events to learn function particulars, including guest and hotel expectations.
• Greet guests and respond to requests in a friendly and courteous manner.
• Serve the food and/or beverage in the order and to the expectation of the Supervisor to ensure consistency throughout the banquet.
• Promptly remove dishes as guests complete each course and/or meal at the end of the meal or function.
• Abide by all State, Federal and Corporate requirements pertaining to serving alcoholic beverages.
• Replenish beverages as necessary, and check with guests for overall satisfaction.
• Reset banquet room according to Supervisor’s specifications to ensure readiness for the next function.
• Comply with attendance rules and be available to work on a regular basis.
• Perform any other job related duties as assigned.

We are looking for our next great team member to join us on our Food & Beverage Team as a PM Banquet Server. JOB OVERVIEW: Set up of Banquet Room and serve food and/or beverages in a friendly, courteous and professional manner according to Crescent high standards of quality.

This position is a Fulltime Evening Banquet Server with starting pay at $20.00. Must be able to work nights and weekend, plus holidays.

Essential Job Functions:

• Set up banquet room as instructed by Supervisor to include linen, silver ware and glassware.
• Attend roll call meetings before events to learn function particulars, including guest and hotel expectations.\
• Greet guests and respond to requests in a friendly and courteous manner.
• Serve the food and/or beverage in the order and to the expectation of the Supervisor to ensure consistency throughout the banquet. Promptly remove dishes as guests complete each course and/or meal at the end of the meal or function.

Ability to transport up to 30 lbs. through a crowded room on a continuous basis throughout the shift. Ability to operate beverage equipment, e.g., coffee maker.
