Banquet Manager

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Banquet Manager to lead our banquet team as a key manager at Bridgewater Banquet & Conference Center, located at 10561 Sawmill Parkway, Powell, OH 43065.

Bridgewater Banquet & Conference center is the ideal, upscale venue for your, Wedding Receptions, Holiday Parties, Corporate Events, Business Meetings & Conferences, Expos & Trade Shows, Fundraisers & Themed Events, Proms & Reunions.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate the activities of the banquet staff
• Ensure adherence to procedures, room set-ups, equipment, and supplies
• Communicate with clients to identify their needs and ensure customer satisfaction
• Manage event logistics including menu selections, seating arrangements, and decor
• Coordinate with kitchen staff to ensure timely and quality service
• Resolve any issues or complaints quickly and professionally
• Conduct pre-event briefings and post-event evaluations
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
• Perform administrative tasks such as event reports and staff schedules
• Provide excellent customer service to guests and uphold the venue’s reputation

Qualifications

• Proven work experience of 3+ years in banquet or catering management
• Knowledge of various types of banquet setups and service styles
• Outstanding leadership, organizational and time management skills
• Excellent communication skills to effectively deal with clients and staff
• Ability to remain calm and composed under pressure

Additional Information

Work Environment: Affluent NW Columbus neighborhood and the work primarily takes place in a banquet hall / event venue setting. This role often requires working evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Reporting Structure: Reports to the General Manager.

Salary Plus Bonus: Salary is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.

Pay Range: $50,000 to $57,000 plus applicable bonuses if requirements are met.

Employment Type: Full-time, Exempt.
