The Woodlands Resort, Curio Collection by Hilton in the Houston area, is seeking a Banquet Assistant to support the Banquet Manager in delivering outstanding guest experiences for events and meetings.

You will assist with room setup, maintain cleanliness, manage materials, and ensure timely turnover between functions. This role requires physical stamina and strong communication skills, with opportunities for career growth and competitive benefits.

Responsibilities

• Set up meeting rooms to guest specifications and coordinate with supervisor.
• Supply and replenish meeting rooms with clean glasses and water.
• Break down rooms after meetings and return to storage.
• Maintain cleaning schedule for rooms and ballrooms to keep them presentable.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

NoOverviewAssist Banquet Manager in the preparing for banquet guests and ensure positive guest experience.Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesCommunicate with supervisor throughout shift to be aware of the work.Set up all meeting rooms to the specifications of the guest. This includes considerable physical activity in transporting awkward and heavy materials such as staging, tables, chairs, dance floors, etc., from storage area to meeting rooms.Supply and replenish meeting rooms with clean glasses and fresh water.Break down all meeting rooms where meetings have concluded and return to storage closet so the room will be available to be reset for the next function.Maintain established cleaning schedule of meeting rooms and ballrooms so the rooms stay presentable at all times.Comply with attendance rules and be available to work on a regular basis.Perform any other job-related duties as assigned.Qualifications and SkillsKnowledge of various types of equipment and set up styles used in the meeting rooms.
