Job summary

Four Seasons Hotel San Francisco is recruiting a Regular Banquet House Attendant to join our Food & Beverage team. This union, non-management position supports event setup, service and breakdown to ensure flawless celebrations.

The role requires a high level of physical mobility, the ability to stand for up to 8 hours and lift up to 80 lbs. Fluency in English and previous luxury hospitality experience are preferred. Weekend and holiday availability is required.

Qualifications

• Candidate must be fluent in English, both verbal and written.
• At least 1 year previous experience in a similar luxury environment.
• Experience in the areas of communication and computer skills.
• Service Passion.
• Requires attention to detail and problem solving skills.
• Must possess legal work authorization in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Set-up, breakdown, and clean tables, chairs, buffets, skirting, and props as specified by the banquet event order.
• Stock linen, china, silver and glassware and supplies for service ensuring that in good condition.
• Maintain cleanliness and condition of all banquet function space according to maintenance programs and plans.
• Retrieve meeting materials, props, crates, and boxes from the hotel’s receiving area and store them safely and securely.

We are currently recruiting for a Regular Banquet House Attendant. This is a union, non-management position. The Banquet House Attendant is an essential member of the Food & Beverage team dedicated to providing exceptional quality and service to our guests. Our Banquets department is involved from planning, set-up and execution to the breakdown of the room so events happen again the next day – or even the next hour. From arranging the setup of tables and chairs to providing meeting materials and flipcharts to cleaning and vacuuming, the Banquet House Attendant is a part of every detail.

We are looking for individuals who possess a high level of attention to detail and a strong work ethic. This role has direct involvement with guests and good communication skills are required. By nature of this position, the Banquet House Attendant requires a high level of physical mobility. The ability to continuously stand for up to 8 hours per shift and lift up to 80lbs is required. A positive attitude and a can-do approach to any task are essential! This position requires an applicant with a flexible schedule and the ability to work all shifts, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Set-up, breakdown, and clean tables, chairs, buffets, skirting, and props as specified by the banquet event order.
• Stock linen, china, silver and glassware and supplies for service ensuring that in good condition.
• Maintain cleanliness and condition of all banquet function space according to maintenance programs and plans.
• Retrieve meeting materials, props, crates, and boxes from the hotel’s receiving area and store them safely and securely.
