Notre Dame Hospitality on the Notre Dame campus is seeking a Part-Time Banquet Captain to oversee service for events at The Morris Inn and campus venues. You will lead banquet staff, ensure flawless service, and coordinate with event partners to deliver exceptional experiences.

This role emphasizes teamwork, adaptability, and a commitment to safety and guest satisfaction. Availability on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays is required, with a pay rate of $19.50 per hour plus gratuity.

Qualifications

• Availability to work Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.
• Ability to manage people and time effectively.
• Excellent communication and listening skills.
• Ability to stand for extended periods (up to 6 hours).
• Follow food safety procedures for handling, storing, and serving food.

Responsibilities

• Ensures the smooth execution of food and beverage service throughout the event.
• Spend time in the office reviewing upcoming assigned events and BEO's.
• Touch base with the event specialist that planned the event to seek clarification and ask any questions.
• Ensure space is clean, and ready prior to vendor arrival and set up is executed flawlessly.
• Be in constant communication with client to ensure customer expectations are met and exceeded by providing the highest customer service possible.
• Manage problems, navigate last‑minute changes, and address issues that may arise.
