Arcis Golf is seeking a Banquet Captain at Ocotillo Golf Club in Chandler, AZ, to oversee and coordinate all banquet and event operations. The role requires strong leadership, organization, and a customer-focused approach to ensure seamless event execution from setup through breakdown.

You will supervise banquet staff, collaborate with planners and clients, and maintain high service standards across food and beverage operations.

Qualifications

• Experience as Banquet Captain or similar supervisory role in hospitality.
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
• Knowledge of food & beverage service and event planning.

Responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate all aspects of banquet and event operations, ensuring the successful execution of each event.
• Collaborate with event planners, clients, and internal teams to understand event requirements and expectations.
• Supervise banquet staff, including servers, bartenders, and support staff.
• Provide clear instructions and guidance to ensure the team delivers exceptional service.
• Oversee the setup and breakdown of banquet spaces, ensuring proper placement of tables, chairs, linens, and decorations.
• Conduct pre-event inspections to ensure all details are in place.
• Interact with clients and guests to ensure their needs are met and expectations exceeded.
• Address any issues or concerns promptly and professionally.
• Train and mentor banquet staff on service standards, procedures, and customer interaction.
• Conduct pre-event briefings to communicate event details and expectations.
• Monitor the quality of food and beverage service to ensure it meets or exceeds standards.
• Address any service-related issues and implement improvements as needed.
