Responsibilities

• This position is responsible for providing friendly, courteous beverage service and beverage preparation in accordance with hotel standard procedures.
• Prepare beverages in accordance with established procedures of the Hotel and Casino
• Greet guests, take beverage orders from outlet service team members or directly from guests in the Hotel or on the Casino Floor
• Ensure that the assigned bar area is fully equipped with tools and products needed for mixing beverages and serving guests
• Follow proper cash control procedures
• Practice proper par stock ordering procedures
• Serve snacks or food items to guests seated at the bar where appropriate
• Check identification of guests to verify age requirements for purchase of alcohol
• Maintain a clean bar, assigned work area and area tables as needed
• Maintain current knowledge of all policies and procedures concerning service of all alcoholic beverages
• Oversee set‑up/breakdown and cleaning of bar area
• Comply with all health and safety standards
• Attend regular meetings as scheduled
• Maintain knowledge of current hotel activities, beverage outlets and operations
• Other job‑related duties as assigned
