Job summary

Kalahari Resorts & Conventions is hiring a Banquets Bartender to deliver friendly, responsive service at our banquet events. You will craft quality beverages, assist guests, and help create memorable experiences at our multi-location resorts.

Applicants must hold a bartender license and have experience in a high-volume or fine dining setting, with a strong focus on safety and responsible service. On-site shifts available across several resort locations with tips included.

Banquets Bartender

Kalahari Resorts & Conventions is seeking a Bartender for banquets. In this role, you will provide friendly, responsive and consistent service to create a beyond expectation food and beverage experience for all guests.

As part of our team, you’ll embody our Promise to Lead with Love—guiding, supporting, and inspiring associates while delivering extraordinary guest experiences. You’ll create a welcoming atmosphere, crafting quality beverages, and engaging guests with friendly, attentive service.

Pay Rate - $7 - $8/Hr. + Tips

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure that all guests feel welcome and are given responsive, friendly, and courteous service at all times.
• Greet guests immediately, inform them of specials, recommend items/drinks you genuinely feel guests will enjoy.
• Maintain bar area; including keeping the bar top/counters and well area neat and organized, dirty cocktail glasses removed, washed and sterilized; any napkins, coasters, straws or discarded garnishes cleaned up.
• Be aware of guests’ rate of consumption of alcohol and its effect and take immediate corrective action to help the guest as well as to protect the interest of Kalahari Resorts and its associates.

What We’re Looking For

• State or Local Law may require a certificate upon completion of an alcohol awareness/safety class as well as state-certified proper food handling certification.
• You must have a bartender’s license to work in this position.
• Must have bartending experience in a fine dining full-service, high-volume restaurant.
• Prior restaurant/bartender/lounge experience in a full-service restaurant or beverage venue is a must and/or background in the service industry is a plus.
